death.
Death is a funny thing. We are always running from it. In Tibet they prepare for it. From a child you are taught how to die. To the spiritual world death is a transformation, into the great eternity. In the West, death is a tragedy, a transformation into the unknown. If we were trained how to die, essentially, we would live better. We would live happier, living each day to the fullest. Whatever that might be. Appreciating every moment of every day. Our souls would always be prepared. And our sorrows always forgiven. Instead, we spend our days running from death. Hiding from it and trying so hard to prevent it. Hiding from the true values and realizations of life.

I have very much enjoyed your thoughts, you have a beautiful spirit. I look forward to following your expressions.
ReplyDeleteRegarding your post, if I may respectfully make a few comments. Western book based religion expressed death followed by judgment then heaven, hell or purgatory. Buddhists believe in the cycle of rebirth. This results in westerners living for the present, fearing the afterlife. Whilst Buddhists channel their energy in this life preparing, or earning if you will, a beautiful rebirth.
Both religions perceive God, as creator of the universe and separate from self. Religions of all denomination must, by virtue of the devotee, Atman relationship, be established in this manner. Releasing all religion in favor of Truth we can turn to a beautiful Eastern philosophy called the Tao.
Taoists believe God became the universe. They determine a life which focuses on flow, synchronization, acceptance, balance and unconditional love.
When we perceive God as becoming the universe we accept that all manifest reality is in fact God, dancing with God, in the perfect moment of now.
Discovering real truth means we comprehend we are not the body. Our sense of physical self is not the real " I ". We are consciousness. Notice how we all have the same name, the ego self is called " I " and the God Self is known as " God I Am ".
Expressed in terms of quantum physics, we are energy eternally in transformation. No birth, no death as energy cannot be created nor destroyed (fundamental law of physics). Understanding the God Self in ourselves allows us to see the same in others. When we reach this milestone of truth we can then see our brothers and sisters as ourselves, therefore we can release all anger and judgment. This release, acceptance and path of truth is the Tao.
Death, birth, space, time, the physical world, separation, good and evil are all illusions. Where once we had to understand spiritual truth to determine illusion, today we can lean on the left brain using science to prove beyond any doubt the myriad of illusion I have just noted. Advances in molecular and quantum physics, molecular and cellular biology and intention science offer some of the many paths to living beyond illusion.
Live free my sister, your life is eternal. You are God, dancing with me(God)in this the most perfect moment of NOW.
Namaste, my sister, love is all there is, all else is illusion...
